《論語》《述而》7.17 :

子曰：「加我數年，五十以學易，可以無大過矣。」

The Master said, “If some years were added to my life, I would give fifty to the study of the Yi [I Ching], and then I might come to be without great faults.”

【Alternative translation】The Master said, “Given a few more years, making fifty for learning the Yi, I might be freed from gross faults.”

【現代漢語翻譯】孔子說：「如果我能多活幾年，五十歲學《周易》，就可以無大錯了。」

【试译】孔子说：“多给我几年时间，最终能体会《易经》的真髓，就可以不犯大的过失。”
